Shortlist

Here it is, finally, an April wishlist!  I haven't been loving too many spring things thus far this year, but here are a few that caught my eye.

Graphic Hibiscus Shift

This cute dress from Anthropologie comes in petite sizing and has bold summer colors.  What I REALLY love about it is the cute button detail on the backing.  Waiting for some reviews to pop up online before I decide if I need this dress or not.

Montserrat Dress

Another Anthro dress that comes in petite.  I enjoy the soft colors and the fact that this dress has short sleeves (most summer dresses are sleeveless)!  I need to see this one in real life and try it on to make sure the scoop neck isn't too low, but this dress looks like one meant for me.

Solarbloom Clutch

I need another clutch like a hole in the head but I love this in both the yellow and green colors.  It is a fun burst of spring! Perhaps when it hits sale it will become mine.

February means the arrival of spring clothing!  Here are some of the things I am curently lusting over...

Anthropologie's Melon Ball Dress, $158

Believe it or not, I don't have a pink dress!  I think this might be "the one."

Anthropologie's Honeyed Life Shirtdress, $148

I love these honeybees!  It seems like this dress runs a bit large, though, so I may be sized out.  Time will tell.

Anthropologie's Penelope Cowlneck, $78

I adore the lacey back of this shirt (that's what you see in the picture).  Since I don't really have anywhere to wear it, I am holding out for sale.

Nine West's Ambitious Heels, $69

Polka dots scream "spring!" to me!

Banana Republic Polka Dot Cardigan, on sale for $49.95

Confession: I may order this sometime during the week.  It's a great price, and, as I mentioned, my heart belongs to polka dots in the springtime.

Ann Taylor Loft's Nautical Stripe Belt, $39.50

Yes, please.

Anthropologie's Kamini Swimsuit, $88-94

I know bathing suit season is a long, long way off, however, I. LOVE. THIS. A lot.  It's been a few years since I've purchased a new suit, so this may be the one!  We'll see when it's closer to summer.

This year I am going to try to significantly cut back my spending.   Especially when it comes to purchasing clothing!  I have so many clothes- some that I never wear.  In fact, I have a few fall things that I purchased in August which still have the tags on them because they've never been worn.  Right when I made the choice to have willpower and limited my monthly clothing budget, Anthro (and a few other stores I love!) came out with a million new dresses I adore!  Lately, there haven't been too many things on my lust list, but this month, there are a ton!  I'm going to have to pace myself and prioritize. This dress has been receiving rave reviews.  It looks comfortable and classic.
